Atlantic Memorial Park

The Atlantic Memorial Park consists of 120 acres situated at the north end of Sydney harbour in Sydney Mines. It is dedicated to “building a seaside journey of remembrance which brings Canada’s military history home”. To access the park, our parking lot is located opposite Lockman’s Beach at the end of Cable Street. Enjoy a leisurely walk on our trail to the restored battery at Chapel Point or follow the directions on the sign in the parking lot for those requiring assistance. Season is July 1st to Labour Day open Tuesday to Saturday. Private tours can be arranged throughout the year by contacting Gary Gallop at garygallop700@gmail.com
